Pioneers features a good mix of climbing, straights, and technical features. There will be a different course each day,
a dedicated mini-kids' course and bounce castle that will be open all day for kids to play on.
Each full-price registration (excluding Cross Prom) gets racers a meal from Relish Catering and an entry into the prize raffle at the Cycle Works Afterparty
- If it's cold we'll have meat and vegetarian chili offerings, paired with some fruit and other sides.
- If it's warm, we'll have some tasty meat and vegetarian sandwiches, paired with some fruit and other sides.
Relish will also be selling the above along with snacks for those of you not racing. And Kinetic Brew will return with hot+fresh coffee and tea available for purchase!
Racer check-in starts at 9:30 and will close 30 minutes before each race.
Saturday will category championship races, and Sunday will be age group championships. All championship races are marked as such on the table below.
Day-of registration will be available for an extra $10 (no fee for youth/juniors). We'll waive the fee if you wear a costume during the race!

We will be checking your USAC Licenses so please make sure to bring yours if you have an annual!
Call-ups based on USAC ranking points for pre-registered riders only.All 2017 USAC Cyclocross rules are in effect.
- Events will be held rain or shine
- Helmets must be worn at all times while on a bike
- Mountain bikes w/o bar ends are allowed for USAC CX events
- No headphones or sleeveless jerseys allowed
There will be two podiums for each championship race. An overall podium for the top three to five racers for prizes/swag as listed, and the state championship podium for the first three Nebraska residents in the race with a current USAC Annual License for medals and a trophy from IntoMetal for first. Non-championship races will have a single overall podium+prizes as listed.

We still have left over funds to pay for Youth and Junior race licenses. A parent/guardian must be present at race check-in to complete the USAC waiver.
Cross Prom is a Madison style (relay) three lap race. Bring a date (each needs to register) or we'll find a wallflower for you! We start the race with a "Le Dance" start (slow dance with your partner). The third lap you will ride together. Costumes are highly encouraged!
If you create an account and login, you can add multiple races and get a $10 discount for each additional non-free race on the same day.
At 6pm on Saturday, we'll meet at Cycle Works (27th and Vine) for free pizza and beer, a prize raffle for all racers, and Hot Wheels racing! (bring a car in an *unopened* package to enter)

The Nebraska Lottery has stepped up with over $1000 in lottery tickets to cover prizes in 18 races! Races marked with "T30/20/10" will receive that dollar equivalent in lottery tickets!! We greatly appreciate all their support of local cycling events in Nebraska!
We're glad to have Method Cycles back with a takeover of Hooligan Hill on Saturday. On Saturday they're sponsoring live music on Hooligan Hill during the elite races, and also providing raffle prizes!
Empyrean Brewing is back with some six packs for the Cat 4/5 races, Fat Bike, and Single Speed races on Saturday, and Masters 35-44 on Sunday, along with kegs of Super Nova, Oktoberfest, and Mango IPA for the afterparty!
The first place winners in Saturday's 4/5 races and Sunday's 35-44 races will get $50 gift certificates to the wonderful Iasan & Sebastian Studio Salon. They've been ranked in Elle's top 100 salons in America, and will make sure you look great with your next visit!
The Master's Women and Men winners each day will get some super tasty sweets from Goldenrod Pastries here in Lincoln. Make sure you say "Hi!" to the Goldenrod Pastries CX Team at the race. They might even have a treat for you!
SRAM Neutral Support will be back once again to help with any snafus you might have on race day.
Relish Catering will be onsite to provide snacks and meals so you don't starve!

Course maps coming! We'll have two different courses each day. Saturday will be our typical course from years' past with a few tweaks. However on Sunday, we'll be cutting off most of the the far west section, and extending the course up to the north.
Each day we'll have a dedicated kids course that will be open for kids to ride any time.
